AQUAPURE hydrodermabrasion

Is a non-invasive hydro-facial treatment that delivers clearer, more hydrated, younger-looking skin. HydroDermabrasion is ideal for all skin types and targets hyperpigmentation, oily/congested pores, fine lines, and wrinkles. The AQUAPURE comes with three different solutions for exfoliation, sebum control and collagen production. This three-step treatment will have clients skin looking clean, refreshed and plump.

Aquapure sessions improve the skin tone, texture, elasticity and treat the following skin conditions:

Uneven skin tone
Sun damage/Hyperpigmentation
Dehydrated skin
Oily and acne-prone skin
Fine lines and wrinkles

While the treatment is safe and can be done on most of the clients, there are some conditions that the treatment is contraindicated:

Pregnancy or when breastfeeding
Metal implants such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and pins
Severe or cystic acne
Facial nerve tumors
Allergies to AQUASOLUTION ingredients
Open wounds, abrasions, and inflammation on the face
Allergy to chemical peels
Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

The approximate duration of the treatment is around 30 minutes. It can be accustomed to each customer and combined with other treatments as well. The recommended treatment plan is 5~8 sessions which can be done once every two weeks depending on the customer’s skin condition and desired results.

AQUAPURE can be easily combined with other Aesthetic methods as it is non-invasive.

Results will be seen right after the session with minimal to no side effects. For better and prolonged results it is beneficial to complete a full treatment plan.

Is the vaccine safe?

COVID-19 vaccines needed to be rolled out quickly, but that does not mean safety was compromised. The Pfizer vaccine we are using in New Zealand is held to the same high safety standards as any other medicine.

COVID-19 vaccines are the most well-studied vaccines ever made. Nearly 50% of the world’s population have had a COVID-19 vaccine, and more than 3 million people in Aotearoa have had their first Pfizer vaccine. This means we have lots of data to show the Pfizer vaccine has been thoroughly assessed for safety.

How was the vaccine created so quickly?

There are many reasons COVID-19 vaccines were able to be made quickly.Scientists had a head start because of all the research already carried out on related viruses.

Governments, private companies and funding agencies have spent a lot of money. This means more could be done in a short space of time.
Researchers and governments from different countries shared information and worked together.
More people than usual volunteered for clinical trials. Some clinical trials were done at the same time, instead of one after another.
Large manufacturing plants were built so more vaccines can be made faster than was possible before.
Researchers could show the vaccine worked sooner than usual, because there are so many cases of COVID-19.

Is it safe if you are pregnant or breastfeeding?

If you are pregnant

If you catch COVID-19 when you are pregnant, you are more likely to become very unwell — so it is a good idea to get vaccinated.

Millions of pregnant people have been vaccinated around the world. Data shows no evidence that the vaccine is associated with an increased risk of miscarriage during pregnancy, and no additional safety concerns have been raised.

The vaccine protects you as you are far less likely to fall seriously ill. It also protects your baby as there is evidence that babies can get antibodies through the placenta that help protect them from COVID-19.

The Pfizer vaccine does not contain a live virus or any ingredients that are harmful to pregnant people or their babies.

If you are breastfeeding

Studies show there are no additional safety concerns or issues with continuing to breastfeed after vaccination.

Breastfeeding supports the development of a healthy immune system, and if you are vaccinated against COVID-19, there is evidence that you can provide extra protection for your baby through antibodies in your breastmilk.

Can the vaccine affect fertility?

No, the Pfizer vaccine will not affect your genes or fertility.

The mRNA from the vaccine does not enter the nucleus of any cells, which is where your DNA is.

Is it safe if you have a health condition?

The Pfizer vaccine has been thoroughly assessed for safety for people with underlying health conditions.

You are strongly encouraged to get vaccinated if you have a condition like cancer, diabetes, kidney disease or heart disease. This is because if you catch COVID-19, you are more likely to get seriously ill and end up in hospital.

You cannot get the Pfizer vaccine if you have had a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) to an ingredient in the vaccine.

If you have any questions or concerns, talk to your doctor before getting vaccinated.

Can I get the vaccine if I am sick?

If you are unwell on the day of your appointment, you will need to reschedule it. You can be vaccinated once you are well again.

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, get a test and stay at home until you get your results. You can be vaccinated once you have a negative test.

HOW DOES PICOCARE TREATMENT FEEL?

Laser skin rejuvenation treatments involve only very mild discomfort. You may experience a prickling sensation as the skin tissue is heated. In some cases, depending on the device used, an anaesthetic cream may be applied prior to treatment.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING TREATMENT?

The operator will move the device carefully over the treatment area. You can expect this to be repeated in a number of passes.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

The condition of your skin will dictate how many treatments you need to undergo. Between three

and five is an average number.

HOW SOON WILL I SEE RESULTS?

You will see improvement within a few days, but your skin will continue to renew itself and will actually look even better a month or so after your last treatment. For this reason, repeat treatments should be spaced several weeks apart.

For best ongoing results, you should always protect your skin from direct sun exposure. Always cover up and use a good SPF sunblock when out in the sun.

Having a radiant and nice looking skin can be difficult. Pimples, wrinkles and other skin problems can appear out of the blue. However, with our wide range of skincare products, you can manage your skin effortlessly. These simple but vital steps can lead you to the skin you have always wanted.

Wash your face
Rinse your face water and rub a small amount of gentle cleanser like Aspect DR Mild Clean between clean palms, morning and night. Massage face, wash all over your face using gentle pressure. Rinse your hands and massage your face with water to rinse your face until you’ve removed the cleanser. Gently pat your face dry with a soft towel. If you wear makeup, you may need to cleanse twice at night.
Serum
Morning is a great time to use a serum with antioxidants—like a brightening vitamin C serum—because they protect your skin from free radicals you’ll encounter throughout the day. Night time is a good time to use a moisturizing serum with hyaluronic acid, which keeps your skin from drying out at night, especially if you’re using anti-aging or acne treatments that can irritate and dry out the skin.
Eye cream
You can apply regular moisturizer to your under-eye area, but if you decide to use a specialized eye cream like Aspect Dr EyeLift, you’ll typically want to layer it underneath moisturizer, since eye creams tend to be thinner than face moisturizers.
Moisturiser
Moisturiser both hydrates skin and locks in all the other layers of product you’ve applied. Look for a good lightweight lotion like ASPECT DR ULTRA LIGHT HYDRATION for the morning. In the evening, you can use a thicker night cream. Those with dry skin may want to use a cream morning and night.
Sunscreen
Protecting your skin from UV rays can prevent skin cancer and signs of aging. For chemical sunscreens, wait 20 minutes before going outside for the sunscreen to be effective. Look for broad-spectrum SPF, meaning that your sunscreen protects from both UVA and UVB radiation. With higher UV radiation, a medical grade, SPF 50+ sunscreen like ENVIROSTAT® FACE SPF50+ is recommended for those who live in New Zealand.
